On May 1, 2023, Annamaria Enenajor was elected by lawyers across the province as Bencher of the Law Society of Ontario. Her election platform focused on enhancing professional competence, encouraging responsible governance, and reducing barriers to an inclusive bar. She campaigned with a group of lawyers and paralegals who prioritized fiscal responsibility and a positive and evidence-based approach to Law Society governance with a view to enhancing access to justice.
